Regional tear and UFC arrival

Goff's prospect stock soared during a 2021–2022 run that showcased exactly how dangerous he was. He outpointed veteran Sean Lally at Cage Titans 48, then went on a finishing spree: a first-round knockout of Marty Navis, a first-round KO of Gary Balletto Jr., and a second-round elbow stoppage of Justin Sumter at CES 67. That form earned him a spot on Dana White's Contender Series in August 2022, where he punched his ticket with a first-round knockout of Shimon Smotritsky. He made an immediate impression in his UFC debut in August 2023, stopping Yusaku Kinoshita in the first round with a body shot and follow-up ground strikes. His first Octagon setback came in May 2024, when Trey Waters outpointed him over three rounds in a competitive, action-heavy bout.

Fighting style

Goff is a pure knockout artist. Seven of his nine wins have come by KO/TKO and none by submission, a 78% finish rate built almost entirely on his striking. His wrestling base gives him the takedown defense and physicality to keep fights standing, where his power, elbows and ground-and-pound take over. He hunts the finish relentlessly, often ending matters in the opening round, and his willingness to engage makes him an exciting watch. The flip side is the risk that comes with that aggression: his losses have come when opponents weathered his early storm and dragged him into the later rounds, where the decision losses on his ledger were decided.
