Ambassador Program Terms
1. Joining
Any Combat Edge account holder with a verified email may join. You choose a referral code, which must not impersonate Combat Edge, a fighter, a promotion or another person. Combat Edge may refuse or change a code.
2. What earns commission
Commissions, bonuses and payouts are in US dollars. Premium costs US$5 a month or US$55 a year (US$50 for the first year through an ambassador link), or the same amounts in CA$ in Canada; commission on a Canadian payment is calculated after converting it to US dollars at the program rate (currently 0.71 US$ per CA$), which we review every quarter.
You earn commission when a visitor who used your link (within 30 days of their last click, or within 60 days of creating an account through your link) buys Combat Edge Premium for the first time. The most recent ambassador link clicked gets the credit.
Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding taxes and after discounts: 30%–40% of each monthly payment during the member's first 12 months, or 40%–50% of their first annual payment, depending on your tier when the payment is made. Combat Edge may agree a different rate with you in writing.
No commission is earned on free trials, prizes, complimentary memberships, $0 checkouts, renewals after the first 12 months, members who previously subscribed, or your own purchases.
3. Hold period, refunds and chargebacks
Each commission is pending for 30 days after a monthly payment and 60 days after an annual payment. If the payment is refunded or disputed while pending, the commission is cancelled (proportionally for partial refunds). If a refund or chargeback happens after the commission became available or was paid, the amount is deducted from your future earnings. If a disputed payment is later won, the commission is reinstated.
4. Payouts
Available balances of $25.00 or more are paid once a month by PayPal, Interac e-Transfer (Canada) or Wise, in US dollars, to the details saved in your dashboard. Smaller balances roll over. You are responsible for any fees charged by your payout provider and for reporting and paying your own taxes. We may ask for tax information (for example a W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying you, and may withhold payment until we receive it.
Instead of a payout, you may apply available earnings (minimum $5.00) as credit on your own Combat Edge billing account. Credit pays future Combat Edge invoices only, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and is treated as paid to you.
5. Disclosure
You must clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you share your link or code, for example "I earn a commission if you join through my link". This is required by the US FTC Endorsement Guides and Canada's Competition Act.
6. Not betting advice
Combat Edge is a data and analytics service. You may not present it as betting tips, a picks service or a way to make money betting, and you may not promise or imply betting returns.
7. Prohibited promotion
- Self-referrals, including through other accounts or people acting for you.
- Paying or rewarding people to sign up, or encouraging sign-ups followed by refunds.
- Paid search ads that bid on "Combat Edge" or similar terms, coupon or deal sites, and incentivised traffic networks.
- Spam, unsolicited messages, misleading claims about Premium, or use of Combat Edge logos in a way that suggests you are Combat Edge.
7a. Pick'em leagues
Your league page shows the public handle (or an anonymous tag) and Pick'em record of members who join it. Leagues are for fun: no entry fees, prizes paid by you, or wagering may be attached to them.
8. Suspension and termination
You can leave the program at any time by contacting us. Combat Edge may suspend or end your participation, and cancel commissions linked to a breach of these terms. If we end your participation for fraud or a serious breach, unpaid balances are forfeited. Otherwise, available balances above the minimum are paid out.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or the commission rates with 30 days' notice by email. Changes do not affect commission already earned.
