Methodology

How the gym ranking works

Each rated active fighter counts once for their listed primary gym. Combat Edge averages raw current Elo, not inactivity-adjusted ranking order. A gym needs at least 5 rated active fighters to enter the official table, preventing one-star and tiny-roster camps from dominating the ranking.

Gym affiliations come from fighter records and are normalized conservatively. Named branches remain separate unless editorial review confirms that they should roll up to a parent organization.
