The competition stiffened as she climbed. In October 2019 she dropped a unanimous decision to veteran Pearl Gonzalez, and in July 2020 she lost another three-round decision to a young Erin Blanchfield, who would go on to become a top UFC flyweight contender. Walker rebounded with a first-round rear-naked-choke submission of Emilee King at Invicta FC 44 in 2021, then earned her UFC opportunity through The Ultimate Fighter Season 30, going 2-0 in the show's exhibition bouts in 2022.

Inside the UFC

The Octagon proved a steep climb. Walker debuted at a UFC Fight Night in August 2022 and was stopped by Juliana Miller via third-round TKO. She followed with a unanimous-decision loss to surging prospect Iasmin Lucindo in April 2023, and after a layoff returned at UFC 320 in October 2025, where she dropped a three-round unanimous decision to Veronica Hardy. The results left her at 7-5 overall as she fights to stay on the roster.

Fighting style

Walker is a volume-and-grappling fighter who lives in the later rounds. Six of her seven wins have come by decision and one by submission, with a 14% finish rate that tells the story of a competitor who grinds out close, three-round fights rather than swinging for highlight finishes. Her Muay Thai gives her a sturdy clinch and a steady output, while her BJJ black belt makes her dangerous in scrambles and on the mat. The honest limitation at the UFC level has been pace and power against younger, more explosive opponents – several of her recent losses came when faster fighters outworked her over 15 minutes.
