Aspera FC and the contender years

Much of Moreira's prime played out across the Aspera FC and regional Brazilian circuit, where she tested herself against a string of future contenders. In August 2015 she lost a decision to unbeaten Taila Santos, who would go on to challenge for UFC gold, and in July 2016 she dropped a decision to Talita Bernardo, another future UFC fighter. After a 2021 decision loss to Ketlen Souza, Moreira found new life in Europe with Ares FC, stringing together wins including a body-kick-and-punches TKO of Rizlen Zouak and a first-round armbar of Zaira Dyshekova. The standout of her later run came in June 2024 at Ares FC 22, where she submitted former UFC fighter Zarah Fairn with a first-round rear-naked choke – a finish over a recognizable name that reaffirmed her staying power.
