The bigger stages

In July 2018, Sipe stepped up to Dana White's Contender Series, where he ran into Don'Tale Mayes and was stopped by ground-and-pound in the second round – his first taste of the elite level. He rebounded on the regional circuit with knockout wins, including a first-round stoppage of Darion Abbey at LFA 85 in 2020. His most visible moment came when he was cast on The Ultimate Fighter Season 30, the Team Peña vs. Team Nunes edition.
