Regional wars and the road through CFFC

The toughest stretch of Regman's career came against a who's who of Northeast prospects. In October 2015, he challenged unbeaten-leaning contender Darrell Horcher at CFFC 52 in a bout headlined by the two of them, falling to a third-round punch stoppage. He bounced back and forth from there, dropping a 2016 decision to Mike Wilkins at CFFC 58 before rebuilding with stoppage wins over Dave Marfone and Anthony Giacchina. The high point of his run arrived in September 2018, when he knocked out the experienced Will Santiago with first-round punches at LFA 49, a statement finish over a 9–5 veteran. His 2019 was unforgiving: a Contender Series submission loss to Antônio Arroyo was followed by a second-round D'Arce choke defeat to undefeated prospect Kyle Daukaus at CFFC 78. After a long layoff, he returned to win and then lose a pair of bouts with Darren Costa under the Shogun Fights banner.

Fighting style

Regman is a knockout-oriented welterweight whose calling card is power: seven of his ten wins came by KO/TKO, against just one win by submission and two by decision, giving him an 80% finish rate. He fights at a forward pace, looking to land heavy, fight-ending shots, and his head-kick finish of Giacchina showed he can hurt opponents with more than just his hands. The flip side of his record is a vulnerability on the mat – three of his six losses came by submission, with grapplers like Daukaus and Arroyo able to drag him into deeper water. At his best, though, Regman is a dangerous, momentum-shifting striker who can turn a competitive fight in a single exchange.
