Begosso announced himself in the LFA in September 2020 with a first-round knockout of the unbeaten Sean McPadden, then submitted Samarbek Sabyrzhan Uulu by first-round guillotine in May 2021. After dropping a decision to undefeated prospect Richard Palencia later that year, he bounced back in spectacular fashion in July 2022, finishing Paris Stanford with a first-round jumping switch knee – the kind of highlight that underlines his knack for ending fights early.

Contender Series test and beyond

That form earned Begosso a coveted slot on Dana White's Contender Series in September 2022, where he ran into another unbeaten wrecking ball in Farid Basharat, dropping a decision in a step up against one of the division's most polished prospects. He answered with a decision win over Cristian Giovannie in August 2023, and a scheduled 2024 LFA bout against Albert Morales – a UFC veteran – pointed to the level of competition Begosso continued to seek out as he pushed toward the sport's top tier.

Begosso is a finisher first and foremost, with a 75% finish rate split evenly between knockouts and submissions – three of his eight wins by KO/TKO and three by submission.
