UFC run

Menifield's early Octagon form peaked in June 2019 with a sensational first-round knockout of Paul Craig, the kind of highlight that marked him as a contender to watch. The level then caught up with him: he dropped a 2020 decision to Devin Clark and was knocked out by veteran Ovince St. Preux. He rebounded in 2021, submitting Fabio Cherant with a rare Von Flue choke and grinding out a decision over Ed Herman, before a setback against William Knight. The 2022 campaign showcased his best run of consistency, with first-round finishes of Askar Mozharov and Misha Cirkunov.

A two-fight series with Jimmy Crute defined his next stretch: their first meeting in February 2023 ended in a majority draw, and Menifield settled it in the rematch that July with a second-round guillotine. He closed 2023 with a decision over Dustin Jacoby, then hit a rough patch in 2024, knocked out by surging prospects Carlos Ulberg and the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov. Showing his trademark durability, he answered in 2025 with decision wins over unbeaten prospects Julius Walker and Oumar Sy. A first-round knockout loss to Volkan Oezdemir followed, before he returned to the win column with a first-round TKO of Mingyang Zhang.

Fighting style

Menifield is a knockout-first light heavyweight whose game is built on raw power and athletic explosiveness. Of his 18 wins, 11 have come by knockout and three by submission, an elite 78% finish rate, and most of his stoppages arrive in the opening round when his pressure and heavy hands are at their most violent. His grappling is underrated – the Von Flue and guillotine finishes prove he can capitalize on the mat – but his clearest vulnerability is the same explosiveness that powers him: he has been finished by strikes himself when faster, more technical strikers beat him to the punch. At his best, he is a fight-ending threat in any exchange.
