The knockout run

The heart of Frunza's career is a brutal stretch of stoppages between 2022 and 2024. He starched Pedro Henrique Dias and Lindsey Jones, then announced himself nationally with a first-round KO of Jalin Fuller at LFA 164 in 2023. Months later he headlined LFA 170, surviving into the third round before finishing Haris Talundzic with elbows and punches in a fight built around his name. His signature performance came on Dana White's Contender Series in 2024, where he stopped the 17–1 Vadym Kutsyi by second-round TKO – a statement win over a heavily favored prospect that secured his UFC contract.

Inside the Octagon

Frunza's UFC arrival in 2025 proved unforgiving. He dropped his promotional debut to Rhys McKee by first-round doctor stoppage, then fell to Charles Radtke via third-round rear-naked choke later that year. Both losses exposed the recurring theme of his career: a dangerous, heavy-handed striker who can be dragged into deep water and submitted by grappling-savvy opponents.

Fighting style

Frunza is a pure finisher on the feet. Eight of his nine wins have come by knockout or TKO for an 89% finish rate, and he has never won a fight by submission. His length, Muay Thai striking, and one-punch power make him a constant threat to end a fight in any round, and his willingness to wade into firefights has produced some of his most memorable finishes. The flip side is just as clear: three of his four losses have come by submission, and his grappling defense remains the weakness opponents target.
