Rise through Lux Fight League

Cuellar carried his momentum into 2019 with a first-round body-punch stoppage of Rafael Nuñes, before tasting defeat for the first time in a November 2019 decision loss to the veteran Esdo de Paz. He answered emphatically in 2020 and 2021, stringing together a run of statement wins under the Lux Fight League banner: a third-round TKO of Alexis Ramírez, a first-round head-kick knockout of Luis Rey Gallegos, and a decision over the seasoned Jaime Granados. That stretch showcased the diverse, dangerous finishing arsenal that defines his style.

Tougher tests

As the competition stiffened, Cuellar hit a rougher patch. He dropped a decision to the experienced Jorge Calvo Martin in March 2022, then lost a decision to the unbeaten Luis Iván Rodríguez that November. He rebounded with a third-round finish of David Pérez by punches and a knee at Lux Fight League 34 in July 2023, before running into the polished Kike Gonzalez in December 2023, who handed him a first-round knockout loss – the only KO defeat on his record.
