Ivan Erslan Record: 15-7-0

UFC arrival

Erslan made his Octagon debut in September 2024 against veteran Ion Cutelaba, dropping a closely contested split decision in a competitive three-round fight. It was the kind of razor-thin result that often marks a fighter's transition to the sport's top level, and it set up a string of matchups against the division's emerging talent.

Climbing in a deep division

In May 2025 Erslan faced unbeaten prospect Navajo Stirling at UFC 315, falling by unanimous decision over three rounds. He returned that September against Jimmy Crute and was caught early, submitted by first-round rear-naked choke. Erslan steadied himself in May 2026, grinding out a unanimous-decision win over Tuco Tokkos to register his first UFC victory and show a more measured, well-rounded version of his game over a full three rounds.

Fighting style

Erslan is a knockout artist at heart, with a 73% finish rate and ten of his 15 wins coming by knockout or TKO – many of them in the opening round. His calling card is concussive punching power and the pressure to set it up, a profile honed against the rugged competition of the European circuit. The transition to the UFC has tested the other side of his game: his losses have come by decision and submission, exposing the grappling exchanges and championship-level cardio that the division's best can exploit. The Tokkos win, earned on the scorecards rather than with a finish, suggested a fighter adding patience and durability to his trademark power.

Career highlights

• First UFC win — outpointed Tuco Tokkos by unanimous decision in May 2026, breaking into the win column at the sport's highest level.
• European knockout pedigree — arrived in the UFC after a long run of first-round finishes and two KSW light heavyweight title fights, establishing himself as one of the region's most dangerous punchers.
• Power across the board — carries a 73% finish rate with ten of his wins by knockout, a profile that makes him a threat to end any fight with a single exchange.
