Rising through the ranks

Silva answered that setback with the best stretch of his career. He knocked out the experienced Vanilto Antunes in the third round at WOCS 54 in 2019, then opened 2020 with a spectacular first-round head-kick knockout of Gustavo Prado, who came in at 7-2-1. He kept the momentum going with a first-round knee finish of Joao Paulo dos Santos in March 2021. That run earned him a spot on Dana White's Contender Series in October 2021, where he met undefeated Russian standout Gadzhi Omargadzhiev. Omargadzhiev, 12-0 at the time, caught him in a first-round kneebar for the submission. Silva regrouped with a decision win over the 10-2 Marcio Cabral in 2022, then stepped up again in March 2023 at LFA 154, challenging in the main event against 8-1 Lucas Fernando, who stopped him with a punch to the body in the fourth round.

Fighting style

Silva is a pressure striker whose power is his defining trait. Five of his eight wins have come by knockout, including highlight-reel finishes by head kick and flying knee, while three more came by decision – a balance that gives him a finish rate around 63 percent. He is at his most dangerous early, when his length and aggression can overwhelm opponents before they settle. The flip side is grappling exposure: his most notable loss came by submission to an elite wrestler-grappler, and a body-shot stoppage later showed that his durability can be tested deep into a fight. At his best, though, he is a legitimate finishing threat who has shared the cage with genuine prospects.
