LFA breakout and the toughest tests

Miller's career took off at the LFA. In 2020 he submitted the unbeaten 4-0 prospect Mando Gutierrez with a second-round rear-naked choke, then followed with a highlight-reel slam stoppage of Regivaldo Carvalho. That run carried him to the Contender Series in September 2021, where he outpointed the unbeaten Brandon Lewis by decision. The step up in competition that followed proved harder. Later in 2021 he was submitted by the experienced Jose Johnson via second-round triangle choke at Fury FC, and in 2022 he dropped a main-event guillotine loss to the 9-2 Joshua Weems in the third round. Miller rebounded with a 2023 ground-and-pound stoppage of Usama Rahman.

Fighting style

Miller is a wrestling-based finisher. Five of his eight wins have come by knockout, with one submission, for a finish rate around 75% — and his arsenal includes the kind of explosive, slam-heavy offense that turns his wrestling into highlight stoppages. The honest weakness shows up clearly in his record: both of his stoppage losses came by submission, the triangle against Johnson and the guillotine against Weems. That pattern points to a powerful, aggressive grappler whose forward pressure can expose him to opportunistic submissions when he engages with elite ground specialists. When he controls the terms, though, he is a dangerous, dynamic finisher.
