The Ultimate Fighter and UFC arrival

Fletcher's TUF 32 campaign in 2024 ended in a unanimous-decision loss to Kaan Ofli in an exhibition bout, a setback he absorbed while competing through a leg injury. The promotion still saw enough, and he made his official UFC debut a few months later in September 2024, submitting Zygimantas Ramaska with a second-round arm-triangle choke to validate the grappling reputation that got him there.

Adjusting to the top tier

The step up in competition has been unforgiving. In March 2025 Fletcher dropped a razor-thin split decision to Caolán Loughran, the kind of result that could have gone either way. He then ran into one of the division's rising prospects in August 2025, falling to Rinya Nakamura by first-round TKO via body kick and punches. The two defeats underline the central question facing him: whether the submission-first game that overwhelmed regional opponents can be paired with the striking defense and physicality required to survive at the UFC level.

Fletcher is a grappler first, and the numbers make it plain — with seven submissions among his nine wins, his finish rate sits near 89 percent, almost all of it on the mat. He chains takedowns and scrambles into back control and chokes, the rear-naked and arm-triangle being his bread and butter, and he fights with a constant forward pace that wears opponents down over rounds. The flip side is exposure on the feet: both of his most damaging losses came by knockout or TKO, a reminder that his striking and defensive striking remain the parts of his game that must catch up if he is to climb the featherweight ladder.
