Going international

Hamed took his career to the United States in 2017, signing with Titan FC and announcing himself with a first-round knockout of unbeaten Isidro Rodriguez at Titan FC 46. His run hit a snag against Jose Caceres: their first meeting at Titan FC 48 in February 2018 was ruled a no-contest after an unintentional groin kick, and in the April rematch at Titan FC 49 Caceres submitted him with a fifth-round rear-naked choke in a grueling main event. The loss highlighted that grappling, not striking, was the path to beating him.

Brave CF and a steady climb

Hamed rebounded emphatically, knocking out Gadzhimusa Gadzhiev at Brave CF 21 in December 2018 and following with a decision win over unbeaten John Robinson at Brave CF 24. An armbar loss to fellow unbeaten Issa Isakov at Brave CF 33 in December 2019 was his last defeat on this stretch of the resume. From there he reeled off four straight wins – decisions over Frank Carrillo and Elias Santos in Titan FC, then back-to-back first-round leg-kick stoppages of Jimi Alberto Diaz Zuleta and Julio Diaz in 2022 – to push his record to 12-3.
