Building an unbeaten Titan FC run

Echeverria kept the momentum going through 2021, knocking out Kenneth Sabino in the first round at Titan FC 72 and then taking a decision over the experienced 12–8 Wascar Cruz at Titan FC 73 to push his professional record to a perfect 7–0. That winning streak, built almost entirely inside the Titan FC cage, made him one of the more talked-about regional flyweight prospects and earned him a coveted audition on the sport's biggest developmental stage.

Contender Series test and beyond

His marquee opportunity came on Dana White's Contender Series in September 2022 against grappling specialist Jafel Filho, a 13–2 veteran. Echeverria came up short, stopped in the third round by a left hook and ground strikes for the first defeat of his MMA career. He answered the setback with one of his best wins, submitting Pololu Nakanelua by second-round anaconda choke at CFFC 125 in September 2023, before dropping a decision to the experienced Pablo Caballero at LXF 16 in May 2024 to move his record to 8–2.

Fighting style

Echeverria is one of the more dynamic finishers in the regional flyweight ranks, with a 75% finish rate that tells the story: four knockouts and two submissions among his eight wins, including that highlight-reel spinning heel kick. His jiu-jitsu roots give him a genuine threat on the mat, while his striking carries enough variety and pop to end fights standing. The honest counterpoint is that his two losses came against his most accomplished opponents – the grappling-heavy Filho stopped him with strikes, and the seasoned Caballero outpointed him – suggesting that the step up from regional finishing power to elite competition remains the next hurdle. Within the Titan FC level he competed at, though, few flyweights were more dangerous.
