Contender Series and the Talita Alencar saga

Luciano's route into the UFC ran through Talita Alencar, and it took two tries. The pair first met on Dana White's Contender Series in September 2023, fighting to a unanimous draw that left both prospects in limbo. The rematch came inside the Octagon in August 2024, and this time Luciano settled the rivalry, taking a unanimous decision to log her first official UFC win.

UFC run

The promotion's deep strawweight pool tested her next. In March 2025 Luciano dropped a split decision to the experienced Sam Hughes in a razor-thin bout. She answered emphatically that October, living up to her nickname by submitting Ravena Oliveira with a third-round rear-naked choke – her first UFC finish and a statement that her grappling is a genuine weapon. The result moved her to 7-2-1 and reestablished her momentum in the division.

Fighting style

Luciano is a Muay Thai-based striker who uses her length to control range, but her record paints a more complete picture. Of her seven wins, two have come by knockout, one by submission and four by decision – a 43 percent finish rate that reflects a fighter comfortable winning rounds as well as ending fights.
