Breaking into the UFC

Alencar's first meeting with Stephanie Luciano on the Contender Series in September 2023 ended in a rare unanimous draw, a competitive result that nonetheless put her on the UFC's radar. She made her official Octagon debut in December 2023, edging Rayanne Amanda by split decision to open her UFC tenure with a win. The rematch with Luciano in August 2024 went the other way, with Alencar dropping a unanimous decision — the lone defeat on her professional MMA record.

Finding her footing at strawweight

Alencar steadied herself with a unanimous-decision win over the experienced Vanessa Demopoulos in April 2025, controlling the action with her grappling. She then delivered her most complete UFC performance to date in November 2025, submitting the seasoned Ariane Carnelossi with a third-round rear-naked choke — a finish that showcased the jiu-jitsu that built her name. She extended the run in April 2026 with a unanimous-decision win over Julia Polastri, continuing to climb in a deep strawweight division.

Fighting style

Alencar is a submission grappler to her core, and her record reflects it — four of her wins have come by submission, all by rear-naked choke, the product of a world-champion jiu-jitsu base. Her game is built on closing distance, dragging fights to the mat, and methodically advancing position until the choke appears.
