Earning the contract

At Contender Series 2025, Luna faced the experienced Mark Vologdin and ground out a three-round unanimous decision, the kind of composed, well-rounded performance that had defined his climb. The win capped a remarkable run that had seen him go unbeaten in MMA for years across the regional scene, dispatching opponents by knockout, submission and decision in roughly equal measure, and it secured the UFC deal he had spent more than a decade chasing.

UFC debut

Luna stepped into the Octagon for the first time on April 25, 2026, against the seasoned British veteran Davey Grant. In a competitive three-round bout, Grant earned the nod by unanimous decision, handing Luna just the second loss of his professional career.
