The Contender Series test

Vologdin's path to a UFC contract ran through a hard night against Adrian Luna Martinetti on the Contender Series in October 2025. He dropped a unanimous decision to the highly regarded Luna Martinetti, who entered at 16-1, but the competitiveness of the bout earned both men recognition, and Vologdin still secured his place on the UFC roster off the strength of the performance. UFC arrival

Vologdin's UFC debut came in April 2026, when he fought veteran John Castañeda to a majority draw over three rounds at a UFC Fight Night. Holding his own against a 21-fight veteran in his first appearance under the bright lights was a credible result, even if it left the bout undecided on the cards. He is scheduled to return in August 2026 against Josias Musasa at a UFC Fight Night, his chance to convert that promising debut into a first official win in the promotion.

Fighting style

Vologdin is a well-rounded bantamweight with an 83% finish rate and a record that reflects genuine two-way threat: six of his 12 wins have come by knockout and four by submission, leaving only two decisions.
