Djorden Santos Record: 11-4-0

The UFC run

Santos's promotional debut came in March 2025 at UFC 313, where he dropped a competitive three-round unanimous decision to Ozzy Diaz — a tough welcome that ended his winning streak but showed he belonged. He answered emphatically in October 2025, controlling the previously once-beaten Danny Barlow over three rounds for a unanimous-decision win that delivered his first UFC victory. In May 2026 at UFC 328 he met undefeated prospect Baisangur Susurkaev and was submitted by rear-naked choke in the third round, leaving him at 11-3 as a battle-tested grappler still finding his footing at the sport's highest level.

Fighting style

Santos is a grappler first, and the numbers bear it out: four of his 11 wins have come by submission and three more by knockout, against four decisions, for a 64% finish rate built largely around his jiu-jitsu. His brown-belt mat skills give him a real finishing threat whenever a fight hits the floor, while a boxing background lends him enough on the feet to mix his attacks and grind out rounds, as his decision wins over durable opponents demonstrate. The honest weaknesses are visible in his three career losses — two by decision and, most recently, a submission to a high-level wrestler — which suggest he can be out-positioned by opponents who can keep the fight where they want it.

Career highlights

• Contender Series contract — defeated veteran Will Currie by unanimous decision in September 2024 to earn his UFC deal after nearly a decade in the regional ranks.
• First UFC win — outpointed the once-beaten Danny Barlow over three rounds in October 2025 to score his maiden Octagon victory.
• Submission-heavy finisher — a jiu-jitsu brown belt with four of his wins by submission, reflecting the ground game that powered his climb.
