The UFC run

Santos's promotional debut came in March 2025 at UFC 313, where he dropped a competitive three-round unanimous decision to Ozzy Diaz — a tough welcome that ended his winning streak but showed he belonged. He answered emphatically in October 2025, controlling the previously once-beaten Danny Barlow over three rounds for a unanimous-decision win that delivered his first UFC victory. In May 2026 at UFC 328 he met undefeated prospect Baisangur Susurkaev and was submitted by rear-naked choke in the third round, leaving him at 11-3 as a battle-tested grappler still finding his footing at the sport's highest level.

Fighting style

Santos is a grappler first, and the numbers bear it out: four of his 11 wins have come by submission and three more by knockout, against four decisions, for a 64% finish rate built largely around his jiu-jitsu.
