Jacobe Smith Record: 13-0-0

A flawless UFC start

Smith carried his unbeaten record straight into the Octagon and never broke stride. In his promotional debut in January 2025 he needed just one round to knock out Preston Parsons, a striking finish that immediately validated the hype around his power. He followed it up in June 2025 on the UFC 317 card, this time leaning on his wrestling pedigree to drag veteran Niko Price to the mat and finish him with a second-round rear-naked choke, proving he could win on the ground as readily as on the feet. In February 2026 he raised the stakes again, meeting fellow undefeated prospect Josiah Harrell and ending the matchup of perfect records with a first-round knockout that pushed him to 12-0.

Fighting style

Smith is the rare prospect who pairs a genuine Division I-caliber wrestling base with legitimate one-punch power. Nine of his 12 wins have come by knockout and one by submission, an 83% finish rate that reflects how rarely his fights reach the judges. His collegiate wrestling lets him dictate where a bout takes place — closing distance, scoring takedowns and threatening the rear-naked choke — while his striking has developed into a finishing tool in its own right, as the knockouts of Parsons and Harrell showed. With no losses on his ledger, the open questions are simply about untested territory: deep waters, championship-level competition and the cardio demands of five-round fights.

Career highlights

• Perfect 12-0 record — remains undefeated as a professional, carrying his unbeaten mark intact through the regional ranks and into the UFC.
• Contender Series contract — stopped the previously once-beaten Christien Savoie with second-round elbows to earn his UFC deal.
• Beat an undefeated rival — knocked out fellow unbeaten prospect Josiah Harrell in the first round in February 2026 to settle a clash of perfect records.
