Earning the contract

That opportunity came in August 2022 on Dana White's Contender Series, where Parkin faced unbeaten Brazilian Eduardo Neves. Parkin's Octagon career opened with a trio of measured decision wins, outpointing Jamal Pogues in July 2023, then Caio Machado in November 2023 and Mohammed Usman in March 2024. He then reminded everyone of his finishing ability at UFC 304 in July 2024, blasting Łukasz Brzeski with a first-round knockout.
