Regional run and UFC arrival

From that point Green reeled off a long winning streak that carried him to the UFC. In June 2017 he stopped previously unbeaten prospect Leon Shahbazyan by first-round TKO at CXF 8, then returned to the Bellator cage in January 2018 to choke out the experienced Chris Padilla with a first-round rear-naked choke. The run earned him a UFC contract, and his promotional debut came in May 2020 against Daniel Rodriguez, a competitive three-round decision loss that proved he belonged at the level.

Inside the UFC

Green found his footing on the big stage in February 2021, grinding out a unanimous-decision win over Phil Rowe at UFC 258. He followed it in April 2022 with a second-round TKO of undefeated prospect Yohan Lainesse, snapping a 0-loss record and showing off his power. The division's rising tide tested him next: he dropped a competitive decision to the unbeaten Ian Machado Garry at UFC 276 in July 2022, then suffered a first-round knockout against Bryan Battle on UFC on ABC 4 in May 2023. Green answered the rough patch in resilient fashion, returning in May 2025 to submit Matheus Camilo with a second-round rear-naked choke, a reminder that his finishing instincts remain his greatest asset.

He pressures behind a steady, varied boxing attack that mixes hands, knees and kicks, then capitalizes when opponents wilt under the volume.
