Building a UFC run

Padilla's late-career surge is the heart of his story. He rebuilt momentum on the UNF circuit, capped by a 2023 second-round TKO of Justin Jaynes. That form carried straight into the UFC: in April 2024 he submitted James Llontop with a first-round rear-naked choke, then stopped Rongzhu by second-round doctor stoppage in September 2024.
