UFC career

The transition to the UFC tested her immediately. Fernandes dropped unanimous decisions to Jasmine Jasudavicius in February 2023 and to Tereza Bledá that June, a difficult 0-2 start against tough, well-rounded opposition. Rather than fold, she recalibrated. In June 2024 she edged Carli Judice by split decision for her first Octagon win, then delivered her signature UFC moment that November, submitting the previously unbeaten Cong Wang with a second-round rear-naked choke. She kept the run alive in August 2025 with a unanimous-decision victory over the durable Julija Stoliarenko, building a three-fight winning streak. That run ended in March 2026, when Casey O'Neill stopped her with first-round punches.
