Road to UFC and regional dominance

One of the signature wins of his climb came in November 2022, when he submitted unbeaten countryman Namsrai Batbayar with a second-round rear-naked choke at MGL-1 FC 18. He then made his name on the Road to UFC stage, edging Topnoi Kiwram by split decision before submitting Peter Danesoe with a first-round rear-naked choke in August 2023. The unbeaten run and finishing rate earned him a multi-fight UFC contract as one of Mongolia's brightest hopes to chase a championship.

The UFC run

Tumendemberel's promotional debut in November 2024 ended in disappointment, dropping a split decision to Carlos Hernandez for the only loss of his career. He responded in emphatic fashion, returning to the Road to UFC platform in August 2025 to submit previously unbeaten Terrance Saeteurn with a first-round anaconda choke.
