Finding his footing in the Octagon

Gore's official UFC debut in February 2022 was a rematch of sorts against TUF castmate Bryan Battle, and he came up short by unanimous decision. A second loss followed in July 2022, a brutal first-round knockout at the hands of Cody Brundage that put his Octagon future in question. After a layoff, Gore returned in November 2024 with a vintage finish, catching Antonio Trócoli in a standing guillotine choke in the first round to remind the division of his submission threat. The momentum stalled in 2025: he was stopped by second-round strikes against the surging Marco Tulio at UFC 314 in April, then dropped a unanimous decision to grappling ace Rodolfo Vieira in August. He steadied himself in April 2026 with a signature third-round guillotine over the experienced Azamat Bekoev, the kind of late-fight submission that has become his trademark.
