Bellator run and championship reign

Amosov announced himself in the Bellator cage with a 2018 unanimous-decision win over veteran Gerald Harris at Bellator 202, then outpointed former UFC standout Erick Silva over three rounds at Bellator 216 in 2019. He kept climbing, edging unbeaten wrestler Logan Storley by split decision at Bellator 252 in 2020 to set up a title shot. At Bellator 260 in June 2021, Amosov dethroned longtime champion Douglas Lima by unanimous decision to capture the Bellator Welterweight Championship, completing a perfect rise. After stepping away to defend his country, he returned at Bellator 291 in February 2023 and defended the belt with a five-round decision rematch win over Storley. Resurgence and the UFC

Amosov rebounded outside the promotion, submitting Curtis Millender with a first-round anaconda choke at CFFC 140 in March 2025. The performance helped earn him a UFC opportunity, and he made an immediate statement: in his promotional debut in December 2025, he submitted veteran Neil Magny with the anaconda choke in the opening round. He followed that with another submission finish, an arm-triangle choke of Joel Alvarez at UFC 328 in May 2026, signaling that his grappling translates cleanly to the sport's biggest stage.
