Rise through ARES FC

Sola's ARES run is the spine of his career story. He announced himself in his promotional debut in June 2023 with a third-round TKO of Cesar Arzamendia, battering the veteran with elbows to signal he belonged at a higher level. From there he became a fixture in ARES main events, headlining cards against the likes of Daguir Imavov – a competitive five-round majority draw that remains the lone blemish-by-non-loss on his ledger – before reeling off finishes and a championship-rounds decision win to cement his status as the division's standard-bearer.

UFC arrival

Sola made his Octagon debut in September 2025 and delivered exactly the kind of statement the promotion hoped for, stopping Rhys McKee with punches in the third round of a bloody, fan-friendly war. The breakthrough was followed by his first professional setback in March 2026, a unanimous-decision loss to Mason Jones over three rounds that exposed the step up in competition at the elite level. He is scheduled to return in July 2026 against the dangerous Brazilian Ismael Bonfim, a pivotal bout to prove the McKee performance, not the Jones result, is the truer measure of his ceiling.

Fighting style

Sola is a finisher first. Six of his 11 wins have come by knockout or TKO, with another by submission, giving him a 64% finish rate that reflects an aggressive, forward-pressing approach built around volume striking, sharp elbows in the clinch and on the ground, and heavy ground-and-pound. His best work comes when he turns fights into the kind of grueling, high-output battles that wear opponents down across rounds, as the McKee finish showed.
