UFC run

Elekana entered the UFC in early 2025 on short notice, stepping in at UFC 311 in January against the powerful Bogdan Guskov. The debut went the wrong way, with Guskov catching him in a second-round guillotine choke for the first submission loss of Elekana's career. He rebounded impressively. In July 2025 he out-pointed Ibo Aslan over three rounds for a unanimous-decision win, then showcased his grappling in November by submitting Kevin Christian with a first-round rear-naked choke. He carried that momentum into 2026, submitting Junior Tafa by second-round rear-naked choke at UFC 325 in Sydney – a third straight UFC win that established him as a legitimate, finishing presence in the 205-pound division.
