UFC run and the rematch

Aslan punched his ticket to the UFC in August 2023, blasting out the 12-2 Paulo Renato Jr. with a first-round TKO on the Contender Series. He got the chance to avenge his only blemish at the time in March 2024, knocking out Anton Turkalj – the man who had submitted him – with a third-round stoppage in his Octagon outing. He followed with a statement first-round TKO of the unbeaten Raffael Cerqueira at UFC 308 in October 2024, running his knockout streak deeper. The momentum stalled hard in 2025: he was submitted by an arm-triangle choke from Ion Cutelaba in February, dropped a unanimous decision to Billy Elekana in July, and was knocked out in the first round by the unbeaten Iwo Baraniewski at UFC 323 in December, a three-fight skid that cooled his rise.
