UFC run

When Silva finally debuted in June 2021, he made it count, flattening Wellington Turman with a first-round knockout. His momentum stalled in 2022: he dropped a decision to a young, surging Alex Pereira and was submitted late by veteran Gerald Meerschaert.

Silva roared back in April 2023 with a first-round TKO of Brad Tavares, but the back half of his run grew difficult. He was submitted by Brendan Allen, then dropped decisions to unbeaten Shara Magomedov at UFC 294 and to former champion Chris Weidman. After another decision loss to Ismail Naurdiev at UFC 308, his slide continued with a first-round KO loss to Marc-André Barriault at UFC 315 in May 2025.
