Gregory Rodrigues is a Brazilian middleweight, nicknamed "RoboCop," a heavy-handed, pressure-forward finisher with a 19-6 professional record in the UFC. Born February 17, 1992, in Porto Velho, Rondônia, Brazil, his full name is Gregory Felipe Santos Rodrigues. He started in capoeira at age five with his father before turning to jiu-jitsu at eight under Henrique Machado in Manaus, eventually becoming a decorated grappler – a multiple-time national jiu-jitsu champion and a black belt under Machado. The "RoboCop" nickname nods both to his physical resemblance to the character and to his uncanny ability to absorb punishment and keep marching forward. Path to the UFC
