UFC debut and a fast rise

Dulgarian made an immediate impression. In August 2023 he stopped the previously 7–1 Francis Marshall by first-round TKO with punches and elbows, extending his perfect record and announcing himself as a prospect to watch. The finish continued a remarkable run in which every professional win had come by stoppage.

First setback and a bounce-back

His unbeaten run ended in March 2024, when the 10–1 Christian Rodriguez outpointed him over three rounds for a split-decision loss, the first time Dulgarian had been taken the distance as a pro. He answered emphatically that September, submitting the 8–2 Brendon Marotte with a second-round arm-triangle choke to get back in the win column and reassert his finishing pedigree.

A difficult chapter

In November 2025 Dulgarian faced the undefeated 9–0 Yadier del Valle and was submitted by first-round rear-naked choke, dropping his record to 7–2. He was released by the UFC shortly afterward. The bout drew outside scrutiny amid a broader probe into betting irregularities; as of this writing those matters remained unresolved, and the details fall outside his in-cage record.

Fighting style

Dulgarian is one of the more efficient finishers his division has seen, with a 100% finish rate across his seven wins — four by KO/TKO and three by submission, with not a single decision victory. His wrestling drives everything: he uses takedowns and pressure to get on top, then hunts ground-and-pound and chokes from dominant position, as the arm-triangle finish of Marotte showed. The vulnerabilities surfaced against the division's best, where Rodriguez out-grappled him over 15 minutes and del Valle caught him early. Against elite competition, his striking defense and scrambling were the areas most exposed.
