UFC run

Amorim's Octagon debut came at UFC 287 in April 2023, where she dropped a unanimous decision to Sam Hughes – an early lesson that her path forward meant getting fights to the mat. She did exactly that. In August 2023 she stopped Montserrat Conejo Ruiz by third-round TKO, then ran off a series of trademark armbar finishes: a first-round submission of Cory McKenna in March 2024 and another armbar of Vanessa Demopoulos that September. She submitted veteran Polyana Viana by second-round rear-naked choke in April 2025, before running into a decision loss to Mizuki Inoue at UFC 321 in October 2025. She bounced back in May 2026 with a first-round armbar of Loma Lookboonmee, reaffirming her status as a submission threat near the top of the strawweight class.

Fighting style

Amorim is one of the purest grapplers in the division, and her record reflects it: of her 11 wins, nine came by submission and two by knockout, with not a single victory going to the scorecards – a 100 percent finish rate. Her jiu-jitsu is varied and opportunistic, with armbars, chokes, an arm-triangle and a kneebar all on her résumé, and her American Top Team striking has improved enough to punctuate fights, as her two TKO/KO wins show. The honest counterpoint is that both of her losses came by decision, against opponents who managed to keep the fight standing and away from her grappling. When she gets the action to the mat, however, she is among the most finish-hungry strawweights in the UFC.
