Jeisla Chaves is an undefeated Brazilian flyweight mixed martial artist competing in the UFC, fighting under the nickname "A Braba" – roughly "the fierce one." Born on February 2, 1997, in Poções, in the northeastern state of Bahia, Chaves followed one of the more unusual routes into the sport: she first appeared at regional fight cards in Bahia as a ring card girl, and it was that proximity to the action that drew her, around 2019, to start training Muay Thai. Path to the UFC
