Regina Tarin Record: 9-0-0

Building an undefeated record

Tarin kept the knockouts and stoppages coming as her competition improved. She halted Luisa Cifuentes by fourth-round TKO at Budo Sento Championship 25 in September 2024, then returned to Combate Global to stop veteran Kaytlin Neil by second-round TKO in June 2025. A first-round knockout of Yurivia Jimenez at TNX 1125 in November 2025 ran her record to a perfect 8-0 and put her firmly on the UFC's radar as one of Mexico's most promising young finishers.

UFC debut

Tarin's UFC arrival came under the toughest possible circumstances. She stepped in on just three days' notice for her hometown card at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City in February 2026, facing the experienced Ernesta Kareckaite (6-1-1). Rather than wilt, Tarin leaned on her boxing through a competitive three-round scrap and took the unanimous decision, extending her unbeaten run to 8-0 and announcing herself on the sport's biggest stage in front of a home crowd.

Fighting style

Tarin is a finisher first, with six of her eight wins coming inside the distance and a 75% finish rate that reflects genuine stopping power. Her four knockouts and two submissions show a fighter who can end things on the feet or on the mat, but boxing is the foundation – crisp, pressure-based combinations that she uses to break opponents down. Her two decision wins, including the short-notice UFC debut, also prove she can manage a full fight when the finish does not come, a maturity that belies her age. With a clean, loss-free record, the main questions ahead concern how her grappling and cardio hold up against the deeper, more rounded competition that comes with UFC matchmaking.

Career highlights

• Undefeated through eight pro fights — Tarin reached the UFC with a spotless 8-0 record and a 75% finish rate, one of the most promising young records in Mexican women's MMA.
• Winning UFC debut on three days' notice — she beat Ernesta Kareckaite by unanimous decision in her hometown of Mexico City despite minimal preparation.
• Regional finishing run — six stoppages across Budo Sento Championship, Combate Global and TNX, including knockouts of seasoned opponents Gisela Luna and Kaytlin Neil, built her reputation as “Kill Bill.”
