UFC arrival

Carnelossi's Octagon debut in September 2019 was a tough one, as she suffered a third-round doctor-stoppage TKO loss to the seasoned Angela Hill. She bounced back in emphatic style. At UFC 261 in April 2021 she stopped the experienced Na Liang with a second-round TKO, then submitted Istela Nunes with a third-round rear-naked choke that October, showcasing both her power and her finishing instinct on the grappling side.

Navigating the strawweight grind

The deep strawweight division proved a stern test. In May 2022 Carnelossi dropped a unanimous decision to Lupita Godinez, and after a layoff she returned in May 2024 to a chaotic bout with Piera Rodriguez that she won by disqualification when Rodriguez was penalized for repeated headbutts. The results turned against her late: she was submitted by a third-round rear-naked choke against Talita Alencar in November 2025, and in June 2026 she was stopped in the first round by a head-kick-and-punches finish in a rematch with Ketlen Souza. Carnelossi sits at 15-5 with plenty of dangerous nights still on her résumé.

Fighting style

Carnelossi is a pressure-driven striker first, and the numbers back it up: nine of her 15 wins have come by knockout, the product of that Muay Thai foundation and the kicks and punches she throws with bad intentions. Her 73% finish rate reflects an aggressive, forward style that aims to break opponents physically. She is far from one-dimensional, with two submission wins underscoring the jiu-jitsu black belt she carries, but her recent losses by knockout and submission point to the defensive risks that come with her come-forward approach against the division's elite. At her best, she is a finisher who turns fights violent in a hurry.
