UFC career

Before reaching the UFC, Saragih's regional resume already included a notable setback: a 2020 fourth-round submission loss to Angga at One Pride MMA Fight Night 36, a defeat that interrupted his title reign and tested his resolve. After the loss to Jubli in the Road to UFC final, Saragih announced himself on the big stage in November 2023 with a first-round knockout of Lucas Alexander, exactly the kind of explosive finish that earned him his reputation. The momentum did not hold. In June 2024 he was caught in a first-round triangle armbar by Westin Wilson, exposing the grappling vulnerabilities that have shadowed his career.
