A knockout artist on the rise

Oliveira's LFA run was a highlight reel. He opened 2023 by stopping Clever Souza with first-round punches, then knocked out Bruno Teixeira in a round in March and blitzed Francisco Ataliba in July, again inside the opening frame. He closed the year flattening Eduardo Alencar at LFA 171. In March 2024 he showed his striking went beyond raw power, finishing the experienced Dallys Gama with a third-round head kick and follow-up punches – his first finish outside the first round. When he met the durable veteran Aldo Pereira (11-7-2) at LFA 197 in November 2024, Oliveira proved he could win the hard way too, grinding out a three-round unanimous decision.

Earning the contract

Oliveira capped his ascent on Dana White's Contender Series in October 2025, where he faced the proven Victor Valenzuela, a 12-3 opponent. Oliveira broke him down and finished with a second-round TKO, a left hook leading into hammerfists, to secure his UFC contract and push his perfect record to 9-0. It was the kind of measured, finishing-minded performance the UFC looks for from undefeated prospects.

Fighting style

Oliveira is a pure knockout artist with the highest finish rate in this class of prospects: eight of his nine wins have come by knockout or TKO, an 89% finish rate, with only the Pereira decision going to the scorecards. He uses his reach and length to fire long, accurate power shots, and once he hurts an opponent he closes with relentless follow-up. The head-kick finish of Gama hinted at a more varied striking arsenal than pure boxing power, while the Pereira win proved he has the conditioning and composure to win a full three-round fight when the stoppage doesn't come. Unbeaten and still developing, his test in the UFC will be how that aggression holds up against opponents who can take his best shot and fire back.
