Building a regional reputation

Caliari's climb was punctuated by tough tests against future contenders. In just her second pro fight, in July 2016, she dropped a three-round unanimous decision to Syuri Kondo at Pancrase 279 – an early lesson against a fighter who would go on to the UFC herself. Rather than retreat, she answered with the most authoritative win of her UFC tenure in May 2026, submitting Shauna Bannon with a third-round arm-triangle choke to get back in the win column at the sport's highest level.

Caliari is a pure finisher: every one of her nine professional wins has come inside the distance, split between five knockouts/TKOs and four submissions. That 100 percent finish rate reflects a genuinely two-pronged threat – heavy, karate-influenced hands that have flattened opponents in the opening round, paired with an opportunistic submission game built on armbars, chokes and the arm-triangle.
