Building a name in Canada and abroad

The chronological story starts with that 2015 setback against Tim Hague at Unified MMA 22. Boser responded by stopping veteran Victor Valimaki by TKO at Unified MMA 24, then ran the Hague rematch back in March 2016, scoring a second-round knockout by elbows at Unified MMA 26 to settle the rivalry. After campaigning overseas, he picked up a 2018 decision over Chase Gormley at ACB 88 that helped tee up his UFC arrival.

The UFC run

Boser opened his UFC tenure in October 2019 with a unanimous-decision win over Daniel Spitz, then drew a rising prospect that December, dropping a three-round decision to an unbeaten Ciryl Gane – a man who would go on to become a UFC interim heavyweight champion. The summer of 2020 was Boser's high-water mark: he iced Philipe Lins with a first-round knockout in June, then followed weeks later with a second-round TKO of Raphael Pessoa. A November decision loss to former champion Andrei Arlovski slowed the momentum, and a 2021 split-decision loss to Ilir Latifi followed, but Boser bounced back the same month with a thunderous second-round knockout of Ovince St. Preux. The later stretch proved tougher: split-decision losses to Rodrigo Nascimento and a 2023 TKO loss to Ion Cutelaba bracketed a unanimous-decision win over Aleksa Camur. He stayed active outside the UFC with a 2025 TKO of Vinicius Moreira at UAE Warriors 60, before a 2026 TKO loss to Gokhan Saricam.
