UFC arrival

Peek carried his finishing reputation straight into the Octagon. In February 2023 he knocked out Erick Gonzalez with punches in the first round on his UFC debut, exactly the kind of violent introduction his regional run promised. The level-up then revealed the other side of his game. In June 2023 he ran into the durability and pace of Chepe Mariscal, dropping a three-round unanimous decision — the first loss of his career and a sign that opponents who survived his early pressure could turn the fight into a grind.

Finding the championship rounds

Peek showed adaptability in October 2023, grinding out a unanimous decision over Mohammad Yahya at UFC 294 — proof he could win on the cards when the knockout did not come. But the pattern of close, high-output losses continued. He dropped unanimous decisions to Charlie Campbell in April 2024 and to Yanal Ashmouz in September 2024, leaving him with a recurring challenge: every one of his career losses has come by decision, and finding a way to bank rounds when the finish is not there has become the defining question of his UFC tenure.

Fighting style

Peek is among the most finish-oriented fighters in the lightweight division. Eight of his nine wins have come by KO/TKO, against a single decision, for an 89% finish rate built almost entirely on concussive, forward-marching striking. His best weapon is volume power: he pressures relentlessly and overwhelms opponents who stand in front of him.
