UFC run

Quarantillo made an immediate impression in the Octagon. He debuted in December 2019 by submitting Jacob Kilburn with a triangle choke in the second round – the same night he was awarded his BJJ black belt – then opened 2020 with a unanimous-decision win over Spike Carlyle and a come-from-behind third-round knockout of Kyle Nelson. His first UFC setback came in December 2020, a decision loss to Gavin Tucker. He bounced back in 2021 with a third-round TKO of veteran Gabriel Benítez, then dropped a decision to Shane Burgos in a Fight of the Night-caliber war at UFC 268. After a grappling-match loss to Clay Guida, he returned to form with a 2022 second-round stoppage of Alexander Hernandez at UFC 282.

Later UFC years

The competition only stiffened from there. Quarantillo was knocked out by a flying knee from striking specialist Edson Barboza in 2023, then rebounded with a decision over the durable Damon Jackson later that year. His most recent stretch in the data was rougher: a 2024 submission loss to Youssef Zalal and a third-round knockout loss to featherweight stalwart Cub Swanson to close out 2024.
