UFC career

Miranda's promotional debut came in September 2022 against the surging Benoit Saint-Denis, who stopped him with ground strikes in the second round. He answered emphatically a year later: at UFC 293 in September 2023, Miranda submitted veteran Shane Young with a first-round rear-naked choke, a signature performance that put his grappling on full display on the sport's biggest stage. The momentum proved difficult to sustain in a brutal division – he was knocked out by Morgan Charriere in September 2024 and stopped by punches against Jamall Emmers in the first round in March 2025.
