Regional rise and lone setback

The only real adversity of his climb came in July 2023, when he was knocked out in the second round at LFA 162, a result that tested the young prospect's resolve. Tobias responded the way finishers do, returning in December 2023 to submit his next opponent with a first-round guillotine and reeling off a long winning streak built on stoppages: an arm-triangle, a unanimous decision over an experienced foe, and first-round and second-round TKOs against opponents with winning records. Contender Series and the UFC

Tobias punched his ticket to the UFC in September 2025, submitting the unbeaten 6-0 Jair de Oliveira with a first-round rear-naked choke on Dana White's Contender Series, a statement finish that earned him a contract.
