UFC career

Grad announced himself in the Octagon in February 2025, stopping Lucas Alexander with elbows and punches in the second round for an emphatic debut victory. The step up in competition quickly tested him, however. In June 2025 he dropped a unanimous decision to the well-rounded Muhammad Naimov, then suffered a second-round knockout loss to unbeaten prospect Luke Riley in November 2025. He is scheduled to return in August 2026 against Dennis Buzukja as he looks to rebound and re-establish the finishing form that carried him to the UFC.

Fighting style

Grad is a finisher first, and the numbers are striking: nine of his 15 wins have come by knockout or TKO and three by submission, leaving only three decisions for an 80 percent finish rate. He is a creative, aggressive striker — the spinning-wheel-kick and flying-knee finishes on his regional record are no accident — and his jiu-jitsu brown belt gives him a real submission game to fall back on, as his guillotine and kimura wins show. The cautionary note from his early UFC run is that the same aggression can leave him exposed against elite competition: two of his four career losses have come by knockout, including the defeat to Riley. When he imposes his pace and power, though, he is one of the more explosive finishers in the featherweight pipeline.
