UFC run

Bellato made an immediate statement in his Octagon debut in December 2023, stopping the experienced Ihor Potieria by second-round TKO. His next outings tested his resolve more than his power. In February 2025 he fought Jimmy Crute to a majority draw at UFC 312, a gritty, back-and-forth battle. A June 2025 meeting with veteran Paul Craig ended in a no contest after an accidental illegal upkick in the first round. He then ran into rising unbeaten talent Navajo Stirling in September 2025 and dropped a unanimous decision, his first defeat inside the UFC. Bellato got back to his finishing ways in March 2026, stopping unbeaten Luke Fernandez with a first-round TKO at UFC 326.

Fighting style

Bellato is one of the more dangerous finishers in the light heavyweight division, with a finish rate around 92%: of his 13 wins, eight have come by knockout and four by submission, with only a single decision. His jiu-jitsu black belt and frame make him a genuine threat on the ground, while his "Trator" pressure and power give him knockout equity standing. The flip side is durability and discipline against elite movement: both of his losses have come by knockout, and his unanimous-decision defeat to Stirling showed that more technical, disciplined strikers can frustrate his forward march. When Bellato closes distance and gets to grips, though, fights tend not to last long.
